ABOUT
THE CAREVIEW STORY
The first CareView Community Church service took place in1996, in a small hotel ballroom outside of the Philadelphia International Airport. Then known as First Bible Fellowship, the mission was to Preach Christ, Teach the Word, and Reach People. Through fellowship and outreach events like Vacation Bible School and annual Christmas Jazz Concerts, First Bible Fellowship grew into a community and out of its first location.

While searching for a new building for his growing church family, Pastor James found himself standing on the roof of the historic Fidelity Bank building in Lansdowne. As he looked out on the horizon at the Philadelphia skyline and the suburban communities surrounding it, he felt a deep sense of care and stewardship for those who lived in them. God gave him fresh vision and a new name for the church: CareView Community Church, a community of people committed to Caring Accepting Reaching and Empowering all people.
Over the years, CareView has evolved into a diverse group of people from several streams of faith and practice. With over 350 members, CareView is an interdenominational christian community, that draws its richness from the diverse paths of its congregants.

Pastor Paul J. James and his wife, Pastor Christine James, partner with a dynamic group of pastors and ministers who lead CareView and are dedicated to serving God and His people.
